ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, IBSAT 2009



Over the years, ICFAI Business School has established itself to be one of the most prestigious institutions in India. The admission procedure followed by the institution is highly competitive. ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, IBSAT is conducted every year for the admission of students to the two year MBA Programme and one year executive programme. Selected candidates are then called for an interview and group discussion session. Candidates are also selected on the basis of their GMAT score.

Eligibility for IBSAT 2009



Candidates having a bachelor's degree from any recognized University with a minimum percentage of 50% marks are eligible for admission. The executive PG program demands that the person should have 3 years experience at any executive organization. Students who have appeared for their final year exam can also sit for the entrance exam.

Admission Procedure



Candidates willing to take admission are required to qualify the ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test, IBSAT 2009.

Selected candidates are then asked to appear for an interview and group discussion session. ICFAI Business School also accepts GMAT scores and selects candidates on basis of that.

IBSAT Pattern



The examination continues for the duration of 2 hours. The paper of the entrance examination deals with questions on adequacy, quantitative techniques, analytical reasoning, writing skills, reading comprehension and vocabulary. A general essay of 400 words in 2 pages is given to the candidates to write.

Application Procedure

  • Applicants may opt for the online registration facilities available at www. Ibsindia.org/ibsat. Candidates filling up the form online should pay an amount of Rs.1000 with the help of credit card.
  • Candidates opting for online registration should also attach their color photograph (scanned).
