About Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration
Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration in Kolkata ranks as one of the oldest and reputed colleges in the country. Although the history of the college can be traced back to 1905, it was in 1951 that the college was affiliated to the for its B. Com. course. The college has been recently accredited by NAAC. In 2005, the college celebrated its 100 years of journey.

Eligibility for Applying to Goenka College of Commerce
- The candidate must have passed WBHSE / ISC / CBSE (+2 level) or any other equivalent examination conducted by other Councils/Boards/Universities, to be recognized by the University of Calcutta.
- The candidate must have pass marks in at least 5 subjects, of which one must be English. The total marks for these 5 subjects must be 100.
Goenka College of Commerce Admission Cut-off Marks
- B. Com Honours (For General categories): Aggregate 65% + 50% in any of the related subjects (Accountancy, Business Economics, Business Organization, and Mathematics)
- B. Com. Honours (SC / ST applicants): Aggregate 50% + 45% in any of the related subjects
Goenka College of Commerce Admission Procedures
- Application form can be downloaded from the college's website.
- The online application forms are obtainable from the website normally after the publication of WBHSE results.
- Forms can also be collected from the college counter from June 6 onwards.
- Application forms of the college are issued only to the regular and current year candidates, i.e., forms are not issued to correspondence course students.
- Students belonging to the SC / ST category are needed to produce the original copies of their caste/tribe certificates while issuing the application form.
- SC / ST candidates from other states cannot enjoy any benefit / concession and are treated equally like candidates of the general category.
- Admission is strictly based on the basis of merit of the candidate and also on the basis of marks scored in the last examination passed.
- Last date for application forms submission: June 13
