Shri Shikshayatan College Admissions Eligibility
- The candidate applying for any UG Course in this college must pass the WBHSE / ISC / CBSE (+2) or any other equivalent examination.
- Must pass in five recognized subjects (of full marks: 100). Amongst these five, one must be English.
- Compartmental candidates / candidates coming from 'Patrachar' or other such streams are not considered for admission.
- For admission in any Honours course, the candidate must fulfill all the criteria laid down by the college as well as by the Calcutta University.
Shri Shikshayatan College Cut-off Marks
For applying to B.A.:
- English Hons: Aggregate 50% + English 45 %
- Geography Hons: Aggregate 60% + Geography 60%
- Political Science: Aggregate 50% + Political Science 45%
- Education Hons: Aggregate 50% + 45% in a related subject (sociology, psychology, economics, history, political science, mathematics or philosophy)
- Economics Hons: Aggregate 60% + Mathematics 60%

- Direct Admissions will be held during 24th June – 2nd July 2009 between (9:30 AM-1 PM)
There are separate dates for B.Com, B. Sc and B.A students for admission all spanning in the month of June.
B.COM- 29th May (After 2 PM) - 4th June, 2009
B.A & B.SC - 29th May (After 2 PM) - 9th June, 2009.
