Sivanath Shastri College Admission Criteria
Candidates who wish to get admission to B.Com (Hons) program are required to have 50% Marks in aggregate and 45% marks in Accountancy plus 45% marks in BEBM/ Math /.Stat. Science students are required to have 55% Marks in aggregate and 55% Marks in Math's/Stats.
Candidates who wish to get admission to B.A (Hons) in the fields of Bengali/ English/ Pol. Science/ History / Education programs are required to have 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in respective subjects. Candidates who wish to take admission in B.Sc (Hons) in fields of geography and economics are required to have 55% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the respective subjects separately.
Candidates who wish to get admission to B.Sc Geography (General) are required to have 45% Marks in aggregate and 45% marks in Geography. Candidates who wish are interested in general combination without geography are eligible for direct admission if they have passed their H.S Examination (10+2 Course).
Sivanath Shastri College Admission Procedure
Sivanath Shastri College opens admission to 1st year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com classes for 2008-09 session from 23rd June 2008. Interested candidates can download the application forms from the college website The submission of the completed application forms shall begin from 2nd June 2008. the price of the forms have to be paid at the college office at the time of submission of the form.
Along with the admission application form, attested xerox copies of mark-sheet and admit card of H.S. or equivalent examination must be attached.
For SC/ST candidates an attested copy of the certificate must be attached. Admission to all courses offered by Sivanath Shastri College are strictly made on the basis of credit.
