South Calcutta Girl's College was established in the year 1932. Educationist late Peary Mohan Chatterjee took the initiative of establishing this school for providing holistic education to the young girls of the region. - Geography (30 seats) - Direct admission is given to the students with 60% marks in both subject and aggregate.

South Calcutta Girl's College Admission Procedure
The admission process takes place every year in the month of June and July after the declaration of the 10+2 results. The application form and prospectus can be obtained from the college office on all weekdays between 11am to 2pm. Candidates may even download the application form from the official website of the college. The duly filled in application form along with the fees and required documents should be submitted to the college office within the mentioned date.
