H.A. College of Commerce was established on 20th June 1956. It was named after Sheth Shri Haridas Achratlal for his generous donation for the establishment of the college. H.A.College of Commerce is part of the range of educational institutions that belong to the Gujarat Law Society that was established in 1927. Gujarat law Society or GLS as it is popularly known has to its credit 14 educational institutes (5 schools and 9 Colleges including H.A. College of Commerce). This Commerce College in India is affiliated to the Gujarat University. H.A. College of Commerce offers instruction in both Gujarati and English at the Bachelor degree level course.

The H.A. College of Commerce also pays attention towards providing fine infrastructure to its students. The library and the auditorium are well equipped to meet the necessary needs of the students. It also offers sports facilities for basketball, volleyball, cricket, judo wrestling, judo, chess and other athletics. It is located opposite the Law Garden in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Admissions to Courses at H.A. College of Commerce

Admission to the B.Com Course at H.A. College of Commerce

For admission to the B.Com courses students need to pass the 12th standard with English, Accountancy, Business Administration and anyone of Economics, Business Maths or Statistics. The students coming from other Boards and Universities need to produce a provisional certificate from the Gujarat University for admission to the B.Com Course. The first term of the academic programme starts generally from 15th June of every year.

Admission to the M.Com Course at H.A. College of Commerce

Admission to the M.Com Course at H.A. College of Commerce is done on the basis of merit and students with more than 55% of marks or above are eligible to apply to this course.
