About Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College
The New Law College of Bharati Vidyapeeth University is one of the earliest colleges of all the 12 colleges that come under the Bharati Vidaypeeth University. It is located in the historic city of Pune, India. With the Bharati Vidyapeeth University gaining a deemed University status in 1996 the New Law College also got affiliated to it. Until then it was affiliated to the University of Pune.

Bharati Vidyapeeth's New College has a good library. Apart from storing a large number of valuable books and periodicals it also stores all the Supreme Court decisions that came up between 1950 and 2002. It offers separate hostel facilities for both male and female students. The New College of Bharati Vidyapeeth University also concentrates in providing necessary infrastructure to make the teaching- learning exercise more meaningful.

Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College Admissions
Admission Procedure at Bharati Vidyapeeth's New Law College:
Admission to the LLB courses of the New Law College are done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the common entrance test conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University.
For admission to the 160 seats 5-year LLB course at Bharati Vidyapeeth's New Law College candidates need to pass the 12th standard with more than 40% marks ( For SC/ ST candidates the minimum marks is 35%). For admission to the 240 seats of the 3-year LLB course candidates need to be a graduate with 40% marks or above ( 35% for SC/ST candidates).
Admissions to all other courses are done by the college itself. For admission to the LLM Course of the Bharati Vidyapeeth's New Law College candidates need to be a law graduate from a recognized University.
For admission to the Doctoral programme at Bharati Vidyapeeth's New Law College candidates need to have at least a Master's degree in Law.
