Central Institute of Business Management Research & Development (CIBMRD) was founded in the year 1994. The institution was established as a derivative of Vidya Shakshak Prasorak Mahal and is affiliated to the Nagpur University. CIBMRD aims to become a center of excellence in management education. The Central Institute of Business Management Research & Development has the latest facilities to promote a congenial ambience for learning and teaching. The institute is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi.

Admissions to Central Institute for Business Management, Research and Development
Eligibility Criteria
For admissions to the 2 year MBA program, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities with at least 45% marks in aggregate. In case of backward class applicants from Maharashtra State, 40% is the required cutoff marks.
Candidates who have appeared for the final year examination of Bachelor’s degree in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities are also eligible to apply for the MBA Program.
Selection Process
Eligible candidates have to appear for a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.
Based on the CET score candidates will be selected for admissions to the 2 year full time MBA program at Central Institute for Business Management, Research and Development.
The last dates of submission of the application form are from 15th January 2009 to 31 January 2009. The date for the personal discussion and group discussion is 22nd May 2009 and 11th May 2009 respectively.
