Prestigious Educational Institutes in Srinagar:
One of the most prominent and prestigious educational institutes of Srinagar is the National Institute of Technology which is located in the banks of picturesque Dal Lake.The college was initially affiliated to the University of Kashmir but has now been granted a Deemed University Deemed University status. Over the years, the institute has earned the recognition of a premier national institute in the field of technical education.
There are two law colleges in Srinagar; the Department of Law, Kashmir University (offering a 3 year course) and the Kashmir Law College (offering a 3 year and a 5 year course).
The Department of Management Studies is affiliated to the University of Kashmir and is considered to be one of the best management institutes in the northern region (course duration-2 years).
