Selection Procedure for Indian Army Soldiers Nursing Assistants M.E.R Exam:
Selections for the Indian Army Soldiers Nursing Assistants M.E.R Exam are made on the basis of a written test divided into two parts. The First Paper contains three sections: General Intelligence, Mathematical Aptitude and General Knowledge. The Second Paper contains questions on Physics, Chemistry (total 50 marks) and Biology (50 marks). The Chemistry questions usually stresses on equations and numerical problems. Each Test is of 45 minutes duration and carries a maximum mark of 100.
Only the successful candidates will be put through the aptitude test and interview. Final selection will be on basis of Merit.

- Minimum Height of the candidates must be 167 cm, which can be relaxed for candidates belonging to certain regions.
- Chest Measurement: On expansion, the candidate's chest measurement should not be less than 77 cm with minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
- Minimum Weight of the candidates must be 50 kilograms, which can be relaxed for candidates belonging to certain regions.
- General Health: The candidate must be free of all communicable diseases and cardiovascular, medical or surgical deformities or infection.
