A Rough Budget for Distance Education in India: The course fees vary from one university to another depending upon the kind of course that the aspirant is opting for. A regular undergraduate or post graduate course would cost much less than a professional degree like an MBA. For instance, an executive MBA degree would cost around INR 50,000 whereas the regular B.A, B.Sc and B.Com degrees would cost within a range of INR 5,000 - INR 27,000. For post graduation courses in arts, Commerce and Science subjects, the total fees range from INR 5,000 - INR 42,000. The diploma and certificate courses cost between INR 2,000 to INR 10,000.
Eligibility: For admission to undergraduate courses, the applicants need to pass their higher secondary examinations. For postgraduate courses, the aspirants have to be graduates. In some universities, admissions are based on the applicants' performance in the entrance examinations.
