IMT Distance Learning |
The Institute of Management Technology offers distance learning courses that are recognized by the Distance Education Council of India. Institute of Management Technology (IMT) is one of the leading and premier institutes of India that offer management education courses and programs or its students. The distance learning courses offered by IMT are especially beneficial for those candidates who are not able to join for full time management programs of the institute.
The admission for the distance learning courses are offered by IMT twice in a year. The courses usually start in the month of January and June.
Entrance Test For IMT Distance Learning Courses
The admission procedure for different distance learning programs varies from course to course in Institute of Management Technology. Students who wish to apply for admission to the different long distance programs at IMT have to sit for the admission test. To apply for the test, candidates can request for application forms by sending a demand draft of Rs.850 to IMT Distance and Open Learning Institute, A-16, Site-3, UPSIDC Industrial Area, Meerut Road, Ghaziabad. Candidates can also collect the forms on payment of Rs.800 from IMT-Doli or from any Information and Training Centers. The admission tests are conducted at all IMT Doli Information and Training Centers.
Eligibility Criteria for IMT Distance Learning Admissions:
Candidates who wish to apply to the post graduate diploma programs need to be at least a graduate in any discipline. Those who wish to apply for the one-year postgraduate diploma in management need to have at least 50 % marks in graduation. Senior public administrators who have 5 years of experience in lines of defense services, teaching or technical or legal professionals such as / CA / ICWA / CS / MBBS / M-Tech are exempted from giving the admission test if they wish to apply for the 1 year post graduate programs except the1-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Insurance Management.
Long Distance Programs Offered by IMT
- 3 year post graduate program in management
- 1 year post graduate diploma program in business management, financial management, marketing management, human resource management, export management and retail management.
- 1 year post graduate program in insurance management. The program is conducted in collaboration with Max New York Life Insurance Company Ltd.
- 1 year post graduate program in Cyber Security
- 1 year postgraduate program in taxation. The program is conducted in collaboration with Taxmann.
