Ever since its inception in 1929, Annamalai University has been working progressively towards providing a platform which provides theoretical and practical knowledge to its students in their respective fields so that they can move on to make a brilliant career for themselves.
The Annamalai University conducts a number of entrance exams every year for students who wish to take admission in the programs offered by the university. Some of the entrance offered for the 2009-2010 session is:
B.E./B.Sc (Agriculture)/B.Sc (Horticulture) Entrance Examination - 2009
Candidates who wish to seek admission into the B.E./B.Sc (Agriculture)/B.Sc (Horticulture) degree programs offered by Annamalai University are required to sit for the entrance test conducted by the university. For the session 2009-2010, the commencement of application forms for the entrance exams swill start from March 2009. The notification regarding application to different programs offered by the university will be issues during the third week of May.
Annamalai University All India Medical Entrance Exam 2009 (AU AIMEE 2009)
Annamalai University conducts the All India Medical Entrance Exam every year for candidates who wish to seek admission for the medical programs offered by the university. The medical programs offered by the university are:
- M.B.B.S
- B.D.S
- B.P.T
- B.Sc (Nursing)
- B.Pharm
All the programs are self financed programs.
Candidates who have passed their higher secondary or equivalent qualifying examinations and those who will be appearing for their higher secondary or equivalent examination during March - May 2009 are eligible to apply for this entrance test. Admission to these programs is done based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and following interview.

Availability of application forms - 03.03.2009 to 02.04.2009
Deadline for receipt of completed application forms by the university - 09.04.2009
Date of examination - 05.05.2009
Annamalai University MBA/ MCA Entrance Examination
Candidates who wish to seek admission into the MBA and MCA programs offered by the university need to sit for the entrance exam conducted by the university. It is a compulsory entrance test that prospective candidates need to clear if they wish to get admission in the respective programs. The university issues notification regarding the application to the programs during the 3rd week of May 2009.
