Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Common Entrance Test, 2007 |
Situated at Indore, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya is one of the most renowned Universities in India. Every year Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya conducts a common entrance test for the admission of students to various professional courses. The Coomon Entrance test of Devi Ahilya in 2009 is on 9th June 2009. Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Common Entrance Test result, 2009 is announced on 19th June 2009. The admission test is mainly conducted for admission to the twenty professional courses offered by the University. Nine of the courses offered in the university are of integrated type. Interested students are free to join these courses just after completing their school. There are certain age limits for the male candidates but no such rules and regulations are applicable for the female candidates. Candidates with bachelor's degree may join any of the nineteen postgraduate professional courses available. Even in this case, there are certain rules meant for the male candidates.
Admission Procedure at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Common Entrance Test
- Application form and information brochure can be collected in person from the office of the university.
- Candidates may even send a request letter mentioning the name of the course along with a Rs.1000 DD in favour of "Registrar, DAVV", Payable at Indore.
- This should be sent to the Chairperson, CET-2008 c/o IIPS-DAVV, Khandwa Road, Indore-452001, Madhya Pradesh Candidates downloading the form from the official website will have to send a demand draft of Rs.1000 during the time of submitting the form.
- NRI and Foreign candidates will not have to sit for any entrance test.
The institute also follows the system of reservation as per the rules of the state.
- The forms for admission are given on and from 11th May 2009. The last date for submission of the form is 2nd June 2009.The application form can be downloaded from the website from 4th May 2009.
Test Centers
Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya Common Entrance Test, 2009 will be conducted in selected centers mentioned by the university. Bhopal, Kolkata, Indore, Allahabad, Kota, Raipur and New Delhi are the test centers for the common entrance test.
