Introduction
Vinayaka Missions University is located at the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India.
| It was conferred a University status by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India under section 3 of the University Grants Act, 1956. it got the 'Deemed University 'Status in 2001. In 2007 the Vinayaka Missions University Common Entrance Test for admissions to the B.E. Degree courses will be held on 15th May, 2007. The application procedure for the ME/ MBA/MCA degree courses is also same.

Obtaining the Application form for the VMU Common Entrance Test for B.E.Degree Courses: The application forms of VMU Common Entrance Test for admission to the B.E. Degree courses can be obtained by sending a request along with a demand draft of of Rs 400/-drawn in favor of 'Vinayaka Missions University' payable at Salem or Chennai. Candidates need to mention the complete name and address of the programme.
The application forms can also be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 300/- from the University. One can also download it from-www.vinayakamission.com . Those who download the application form should make the payment at the time of submitting the form.
Submitting the Application Form: The duly filled application form should reach the Controller of Examination, Sankari Main Road, Ariyanoor, Salem, 636 308, Tamil Nadu on or before 2nd May, 2007.

Time of B.E. Entrance Test: 10.00 a.m to 1.30 p.m.
Time for the MBA/MCA/ ME Entrance Test: 2.00 p.m. To 5 p.m.
