Chaudhuri Charan Singh University B.Tech Entrance Test 2007
Chaudhuri Charan Singh University was established in the year 1965. The university has a total of 15 teaching departments, an institute for correspondence courses, a constituent as well as 62 affiliated colleges. Chaudhuri Charan Singh University offers a number of graduate and post graduate courses in fields ranging from art, law education, science and commerce.
Chaudhuri Charan Singh University offers B.Tech programs in EC, EI, CS, IT, ME and Agricultural Engineering in the Sir Chhotu Ram Institute Of Engineering and Technology which is a campus Institute of the University. Candidates who wish to take admission in these courses need to sit for the entrance exam conducted by the university. For the year 2008, the entrance examination was held on Sunday, May 25, 2008. The entrance test was held in Meerut, Ghaziabad, Lucknow and Saharanpur.
Eligibility For Application
Candidates who wish to take admission into the B.Tech programs offered by the university need to have passed their 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university. Candidates who had appeared for the their board exams in the year 2008 were also allowed to sit for the entrance examination.
Application Procedure for Chaudhuri Charan Singh University B.Tech Entrance Test 2008:
Application forms for the entrance exam were made available at select branches of Allahabad Bank in selected cities all over the country. The forms along with the brochure were available at a payment of Rs 600 for general category and OBC category students and Rs 400 for SC/ST category students. The last date for submission of filled up applications was 28th April 2008. The filled up application forms were sent to the following address:
