Introduction
A Common Entrance Test, designated as Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2010 (EAMCET – 2010) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of APSCHE for entry into the first year of the following professional courses offered for the academic year 2010-2011 in various government and private colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The various courses, which you can enroll in, are as follows:
(a) B.E/B.Tech courses
(b) B.Pharm (M.P.C.)
(c) B.Tech (Ag.Engg)
(d) B.Tech (Dairying).
(e) B.Tech (FS &T)
(f) B.Sc. (CA & BM)
(g) B.V.Sc and A.H/B.Sc (Ag)/B.Sc (Hort)/B.F.Sc/B.Tech (FST)/ B.Sc. (Commercial Agri. & Business Mgt) (Bi.P.C) courses
(h) MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BNYS courses
(i) B. Pharm (Bi.P.C. courses).
(j) B.Tech. (Bio-Technology).
Eligibility
The minimum qualification to appear for EAMCET-2010 is:
For admission to the Engineering, B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), B.Tech Dairying, B.Tech (Ag.Engineering), B.Tech (Food Science and Technology) (FS&T), B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt) (CA&BM) courses, candidates should have passed or appeared in the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology. To enroll for engineering & Pharmacy courses the candidates should be at least 16 years of age. Moreover, other courses candidate should be within the age limit between 17-25 years of age on 31st December, 2010. Candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh can only apply in EAMCET.
Candidates seeking admission to agricultural and medicine courses through EAMCET 2010 should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in EAMCET-2010 (AM Category).
For admission to MBBS/BDS Courses through EAMCET 2010, candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional which shall include a practical test in these subjects or any examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including practical test in each of these subjects, recognized as equivalent to Intermediate by the Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad.
B. For admission to B.Pharm Courses through EAMCET 2010, candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology optional, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education as equivalent thereto. They should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
C. For admission to B.Tech courses through EAMCET 2010 candidates should have pursued or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of A.P shall be eligible.

Availability of Application Form: Mid February to March End, 2010. You can also apply online through the official website www.apeamcet.org
Submission of completed application form: 3rd week of March, 2010
Date of EAMCET 2010: Mid May, 2010
Those who submit the form with a late fee will have to do so in person at the Convener’s office, Hyderabad and the test centers will be allotted at Hyderabad/ Secunderabad only.
