Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is one of the most prestigious universities in India. Established in the year 1998 by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The university is recognized by University Grants Commission of India under section 12B of UGC Act.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University conducts the B.Tech and M.Tech entrance tests every year for candidates who wish to take admission into the engineering programs offered by the university. The university conducted the common entrance test on 25th May 2008 for candidates who wished to take admission into the B.Tech and M.Tech programs for the session 2008-2009. The test was conducted from 2pm to 4.30 pm.

Eligibility For Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University B.Tech/M.Tech Entrance Test
Candidates who wish to appear for the Guru Gobind Sing Indraprastha University B. Tech/M. Tech Entrance test need to have attained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 10+2 system examinations of CBSE or an equivalent board. Prospective candidates must have passed in all these subjects individually along with English. The age limit of candidates should not be more than 21 years as of 1st of August 2008.

The test centers for the Guru Gobind Sing Indraprastha University entrance tests were Jaipur, Delhi, Bhopal, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai and Lucknow.
Application Procedures for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University B.Tech/M.Tech Entrance Test:
The application forms for the entrance tests would be available at certain branches of the Punjab and Sind Bank on payment of Rs. 750. The filled up forms should be sent to the following address through speed post or by registered post:
