Introduction
Anna University, Chennai offers admission to B.Tech (Industrial Biotechnology) through Entrance Examination, conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. The above programme is offered at the following constituent institutions of Anna University.

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed or are appearing for HSC Examination under 10+2 stream of its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology are eligible to appear for the Entrance Examination with minimum 55% marks in individual subjects and 60% in aggregate of Physics & Chemistry and Maths. or Biology.
Examination Centre: Bangalore, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Chennai, Trichy, Hyderabad, Madurai, Mumbai and New Delhi.
Application Procedure: Application form can be had from Canara Bank, Anna University on payment of requisite charges or from the Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University on production of a demand draft. Application forms can also be had by post by sending a requisition in a cover addressed to “The Director Centre for Biotechnology, Ann University, Chennai 60025" along with the Demand Draft for prescribed charges and a self addressed envelope of size 30x12.5 cms.
