Delhi Engineering Entrance Exams

Introduction
The university of Delhi conducts a Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) for admission to First Semester of BE Courses in Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.


Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by CBSE or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Delhi securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (50% or more marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category, 55% or more marks for candidates belonging to CW (Defense)/Physically Handicapped Category).


Those appearing in the qualifying examination and expecting results to be declared before the last date of the receipt of the application for admission are also eligible to apply for the CEE.

Pattern of Test:
The medium of examination is English. The test is conducted in Chemistry, Physics and Maths. It is based on the standard of Sr. Sec. School Certificate examination conducted by CBSE. Questions are of objective/ multiple types. Each question has multiple (four) choices. Correct answer is awarded four marks and one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. There are three papers of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics of 60 questions.

(i) The Dean, Faculty of Technology (University of Delhi), Room No. HCFF-13, First Floor (Health Centre), Delhi College of Engineering (New Campus), Bawana Road, Delhi.

(ii) Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, Sector-3, Dwarka Pappankalan, New Delhi.
