Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC) Govt. of Pondicherry conducts Joint Entrance Test for the admission to 1st year of the B.Tech. Course
Eligibility:
Passed in Higher Secondary (Academic/Vocational) or equivalent thereto with a minimum of 50% marks (each) in Mathematics, Physics and any of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology (Botany & Zoology)
Pattern of Test:
JET consists of two papers, each of two hours duration. Paper-I: Mathematics and Paper-II Physical Science (Physics and Chemistry). The Mathematics paper will consist of 60 objective type questions and the physical Science paper will consist of 80 objective type questions (40 each in Physics & Chemistry).

Pondicherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam
Admision Procedure:
Admission to first year degree course is based on the marks of qualifying examination in Mathematics, Chemistry, physics and JET marks in the ratio of 1:1.
