Introduction
Joint Entrance Examination (JET) is conducted for admission to BE courses at Tripura Engineering and Regional Engineering College, Silchar by Tripura.
Eligibility: Passed higher Secondary (10+2) of Tripura Board of Secondary Education/CBSE with five subjects or an equivalent examination with 50% (45% for SC and 40% for ST) marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for admission.
Pattern of Test: JET consists of questions in Physics, Chemistry and Maths carrying 100 marks each. Each paper is of 3 hours duration, standard of questions in of higher secondary course. The candidates have the choice to answer either in English or in Bengali. Selection is made on the basis of merit in the Joint Entrance Examination.
Date of Examination: April, 2009
Application Procedure: Application form can be had from the Chairman, Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, Directorate of Higher Education, Agartala on payment of requisite charges.
