Introduction
A State Entrance Examination (SEE) is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow for admission to Degree courses in Engineering/Architecture/ Postgraduate courses and MCA of state Government, Govt. aided and private unaided institutions affiliated to U.P. Technical University, Lucknow along with some other Universities of Uttar Pradesh.
Eligibility:Candidates having passed the 10+2 standard or equivalent is eligible for the State Entrance Exam. The candidates appearing in the final examination may also appear in the Entrance Examination.
Subject combination required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.Tech.: Physics & Chemistry/Maths, B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) : Physics & Chemistry/Maths, B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.) : AG I & AG II/AG III., B.Arch.: Math/Aptitude Test (Arch). Candidates seeking admission to B.Arch., must have passed 10+2 with more than 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as subject of examination.
Pattern of Examination: SEE consists objective type questions except Drawing Aptitude Test. Papers & Subjects in the Entrance Examination:

Application Procedure: Application forms and Information Brochure may be purchased during January/Febraury from the branches of Allahabad Bank at all Distt. Headquaters & Govt. funded Engineering Institutions/Private Engg. Institutions of Uttar Pradesh. The application form may also be obtained by post from the Registrar, SEE-UPTU, U.P. Technical University, I.E.T. campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow.

Schedule of SEE UPTU 2007
Date of issuing Application Form: 17th January to 28th February.
Last date of receipt of Application Form: Candidates must send the completed application forms to The Registrar, (SEE-UPTU), Uttar Pradesh Technical University, I.E.T. Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226021 by March 07, 2007. Forms sent by Speed Post / Registered Post will only be accepted.
Date of Entrance Exam:
Aptitude Test for MBA-21st April, 2007- 7.30 AM to 9.30 AM
Aptitude Test for Hotel Management-21st April,2007- 11AM to 12.30 PM
Aptitude Test for MCA-21st April, 2007-2.00PM to 4.00 PM
Aptitude Test for Diploma Holders in Engg/Pharmacy-21st April, 2007-4.30 PM to 6 PM
The Entrance exam for Physics, Chemistry (AG -I & AG II), Biology ( Botany & Zoology),
Mathematics ( AG III) and Aptitude Test (Arch) will be held on 22nd April, 2007
Where will you get the Forms:
Information Brouchers and applicatio forms will be available in Head post Offices, Mukhya dak Ghar(MDGs)of U.P, New Delhi, Nainital & Dehradun.Those who want to get the application forms by post should send the request along with a crossed Bank draft of Rs 550/(Rs 350/ for SC/ST candidates)to the Registrar, SEE-UPTU: 2007, U.P.Technical University, I.E.T.Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-21. The bank draft should be drawn favour of Finance Officer A/C SEE-UPTU:2007 payable at Lucknow. It should also accompany two self addressed stickers so as to reach on or before February 20, 2007 at SEE-UPTU:2007 office. The candidates need to write his / her Name and Address on the back of the Demand Draft.
