About JNU

JNU Entrance Exam


Every year, lakhs of students take the JNU Entrance Exam in various nooks and corners of the country and seeks to become a part of the JNU community. The JNU Entrance exam is also unique in the sense that apart from providing reservation to the backward sections of the society, it allots deprivation points to the girl candidates and to candidates coming from the least developed states. It is time for JNU aspirants to hit the books as the JNU Entrance examination schedule for 2008 has been announced.

JNU Application Procedure

If you want to procure an application form for JNU Entrance exam by post, your request should be accompanied by a crossed Bank Draft of Rs. 200/- in favor of Jawaharlal Nehru University payable at New Delhi as well as a self-addressed (unstamped) envelope of the size of 30 cms X 25 cms. One needs to clearly indicate the category for which the Application Form is required on the self-addressed envelope to the Assistant registrar (admissions), Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi-110067. The amount for candidates from Nepal and Sri Lanka is Rs.300/- or equivalent US Dollars.

One can also acquire the form from the University cash counter on cash payment of Rs. 120/ on all working days ( Monday to Friday).
