Introduction
The history of Aligarh Muslim University can be traced back to 1875 when Sir Syed Ahmed Khan established the Muhammedan Anglo Oriental College. The college became a full-fledged University in 1920 and today Aligarh Muslim University offers more than 250 courses to both Indian and Foreign Nationals. In 2007 the AMU Entrance examination will be held for 24 courses.

Eligibility criteria for admission to the LLM courses at AMU:
For admissions to the LLM courses of the Aligarh Muslim University the candidates need to pass the L.L.B./B.A. L.L.B. course with at least 55% marks from a recognized University.
Test pattern: The entrance test will be of 2 hours duration with objective and short answer type questions.

Obtaining the Application Form of AMU L.L.M. Entrance exam 2007: The application form of AMU L.L.M. Entrance exam 2007 can be obtained by sending a request along with a crossed demand draft of Rs 100/ drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh, payable at the SBI, AMU Branch (code 5555) to the Assistant Controller (Admissions), Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, 202 002. Candidates should also send a self-addressed envelope of 30 x 25 cms in size affixing postage stamp of Rs. 90/. Candidates should clearly write the name of the course for which admission is needed.
Submitting the Application Form: Duly filled in application form should be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs. 250/ drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh, payable at the SBI, AMU Branch (code 5555), Aligarh. The application form and the demand draft should be sent to Admission section, Office of the Controller of Examination and admissions, AMU, Aligarh. Candidates should clearly write the name of the course in which they are seeking admission at the enclosed envelope.
Test Schedule
Last date of Submissions of Application Form: 19th March 2007
Date of Entrance Test: 2nd June 2007.
Time: 10a.m to 12 noon.
