About
Established by the Gujarat Government, Gujarat National Law University is situated in Gandhinagar. Formed under the Gujarat National Law University Act, 2003 it is situated within a few kilometers from Ahmedabad. Gujarat National Law University Entrance Test is primarily conducted for the admission of students to the 5 year integrated degree courses. Gujarat National Law University Entrance Test 2008 will be held on 11th May.

Eligibility Criteria for GNLU Entrance Test:
- Candidates who have cleared the Higher Secondary School Examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.
- Candidates are required to be within 20 years of age. The age limit for SC/ST candidates is twenty two years as on 1st day of July, 2008.
- Candidates who have appeared for their final year examination may also sit for the test.
Application Procedure for GNLU Entrance Test:
- The application form for the entrance test is available online for the candidates to download.
- Forms can also be collected in person from any branch of the ICICI bank.
- The duly filled in application form along with a demand draft should be sent to the Admission Committee, Gujarat National Law University, E-4, GIDC, Electronics Estate, Sector 26, Gandhinagar-382028, Gujarat, India.
- The demand draft of Rs.850 should be drawn in favour of “Gujarat National Law University”, Ahmedabad.
- Candidates are selected according to their performance in the Common Law Admission Test. It is also popularly known as CLAT.
- A certain number of seats are kept reserved for the SC (15%), ST (7.5%), physically Challenged (3%) and Domiciled candidates in Gujarat (10%). Total number of seats is 160.
