National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal Entrance Exam 2007

The National Law Institute University (NLIU) is one of the leading Law institute in India. Though the university started out from humble beginnings, over the years, the National Law Institute has distinguished itself as one of the most academically and professionally recognized university.

The National Law Institute University (NLIU) is known for providing high quality legal education, research and training. The National Law Institute University installs a sense of broad perspective and challenging capabilities in its students. The university offers a total of 82 seats for its BA LL.B program out of which 41 seats are reserved for the candidates from Madhya Pradesh.

NLIU Entrance Test



The candidates who wish to get admission into the L.L.B programs offered by the university need to sit for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). CLAT is the common entrance test for seven national law schools that was held for the first time in 2008. CLAT was held on 11th May 2008. The test was conducted over 2 hours.


Eligibility For CLAT 2008



Candidates who wish to sit for the CLAT need to have a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 examination or any equivalent examination. The criteria is reduced to 45% for SC, ST or OBC candidates. Candidate who sat for 2008 CLAT were required to be less than 20 years of age as on 1st July 2008. The age limit was extended to 22 years in case of SC, ST and OBC candidates.
