Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University is a leading law university in India. The university was established under the U.P. Act No.28 of 2005. Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) and LL.M programs.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University is equipped with excellent infrastructural facilities for offering knowledge of law to its students. The CLAT for admission to 2009 programs would be conducted on the second week of May,2009. The final date for submitting forms that have been fully filled up is second week of April, 2009.
Eligibility For Admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) Programs
Candidates who wish to take admission into the B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) programs offered by the university need to have passed their higher secondary school under the 10 + 2 system or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board or University.. For SC or ST candidates, a minimum of 45% marks are required. Prospective candidates who sit for the CLAT 2009 are required to be less than 20 years of age, 22 years in case of SC/ST candidates on the 1st of July 2009. Students would be given admission on the basis of the scores they get at the CLAT examinations. Students, who are presently studying in the 12th standard, can also appear for these examinations.
Seats in B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) Programs
There are a total of 160 seats, out of which 80 have been reserved for general students and 43 have been reserved for backward classes of Uttar Pradesh. 34 seats have been reserved for scheduled caste students of Uttar Pradesh and 3 have been reserved for scheduled tribe students of Uttar Pradesh.

The LL.M program offered by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University is a two year course. Every year 20 students are granted admission in these courses.
