Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University is equipped with excellent infrastructural facilities for offering knowledge of law to its students. For year 2006 and 2007, prospective candidates who wanted to take admission into the law programs at the university had to sit for the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University Entrance Exam. But for the year 2008, admission for the law programs were made through the Common Law Admission Test. The CLAT for admission to 2008 programs would be conducted on 11th May 2008.

Eligibility For Admission to B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) Programs
Candidates who wish to take admission into the B.A. LL.B. (Hons), B.Sc. LLB (Hons.) programs offered by the university need to have passed their higher secondary school under the 10 + 2 system or any equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized Board or University.. For SC or ST candidates, a minimum of 45% marks are required. Prospective candidates who sat for the CLAT 2008 were required to be less than 20 years of age, 22 years in case of SC/ST candidates on the 1st of July 2008.
