HP State Combined Management Aptitude Test (HPCMAT) 2010 |
HP State Combined Management Aptitude Test (HPCMAT) is conducted for the admission of students to the various institutions affiliated to the universities in Himachal Pradesh. Admission is granted to the students according to their performance in the management aptitude test, personal interview round and group discussion session. HP State Combined Management Aptitude Test (HPCMAT) 2010 will be held on June 1st week, 2010.
Eligibility for HP State Combined Management Aptitude Test (HPCMAT) 2010
- Candidates with at least 50% marks in graduation are eligible to sit for the entrance examination.
- SC/ST candidates willing to sit for the entrance test should have 45% marks in graduation.
- Candidates who have appeared for their final year examination may also apply for admission.
- Maximum age limit for admission to all P.G. courses is 26 years, except for NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign National candidates, and Defence personnel (serving or retired).
- SC/ST candidates are entitled to an age relaxation of 3 years.
Application Procedure for HPCPMT
Subsidized
- Candidates may collect the application form and brochure from the cash counter by paying an amount of Rs.400. Rs.450 is charged for applications requested by post.
- SC/ST candidates need to pay a cash amount of Rs. 250 while collecting the application form from the university cash counter. Rs. 300 is charged for applications to be sent by post.
Non- Subsidized
- For general candidates it is Rs.500 in person and Rs.550 by post.
- For SC/ST candidates it is Rs. 350 in person and Rs.400 by post.
In any case, the drafts should be in favor of "Director IMS, HP University", payable at Shimla.
Test Pattern
The question paper consists of objective type questions and has four sections-Reasoning, business environment, English comprehension and data interpretation and arithmetic comprehension. There will be fifty questions in each section.

Dharmshala, Delhi, Shimla, Chandigarh and Solan.
