Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) MBA Entrance Test 2010 |
Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) MBA Entrance is conducted for the admission of selected candidates to MBA (IT) and MSCLIS courses offered by the institution. Candidates are selected for the entrance examination on the basis of their performance in the Common Admission Test (CAT). Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) MBA Entrance Test 2010 will be held on the following dates:
- a.MBA (IT) on 21st and 22nd February, 2010
- MSCLIS on 28th February and 1st March, 2010
Eligibility for IIIT MBA Entrance Test:
- MBA (IT)-Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and the valid CAT score is necessary for admission. GMAT score is essential for the NRI candidates. There are total 76 seats and some are kept reserved for the SC (11), ST (6), OBC (13), and Physically Handicapped (2) candidates. Candidates who are appearing for the qualifying degree examinations and expecting their final results latest by 14th July 2010 are also eligible to apply.
- MSCLIS-Candidates should be a BE, B.Tech, LLB or possess a Post Graduate degree. There are total 76 seats of which 11, 6, 13, and 2 seats are kept reserved for the SC, ST, OBC, and Physically Handicapped candidates respectively. Final year degree examination candidates expecting their final results latest by 14th July 2010 are also eligible to apply.
IIIT MBA Entrance Application Procedure
- Application forms can be downloaded from the website
- However, candidates may even purchase it in person or get it by post.
- Candidates should mention "Request for MBA (IT)/MSCLIS Program Application Form" on the top of the request letter.
- Rs.600 is charged from the general candidates for the application form. For SC/ST candidates the amount mentioned is Rs.300.
- Payments can be done either by cash or by demand draft.
- The demand draft should be in favour of HIT-Allahabad.
- Candidates submitting the downloaded application form should also send the DD with it.
