BIT Mesra MCA Entrance Test 2010 |
Admissions to MCA programme of Birla Institute of Technology and its extension centers at Allahabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lalpur and Noida are done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in BIT Mesra MCA Entrance Test.
Eligibility: Those who have a recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum in 10+2+3 system) in BCA or B.Sc in Computer Application/ Information Technology/Electronics or B.Sc. /B.A with Mathematics or Statistics at graduate level are eligible to apply for BIT Mesra MCA Entrance Test. The B.Sc. /B.A. (honors) candidates must have minimum 60% (50% for SC/ST) marks in their honors subject. Candidates of other courses need to have 60 %( 50% for SC/ST) marks in average in graduation.
Test Centres:The BIT Mesra MCA Entrance Exam would be held at Allahabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida and Ranchi.
Obtaining the Application Form: The information brochure and application material for the BIT Mesra MCA Entrance test can be obtained from all the BIT Centers in person from March third week to April fourth week, 2010 on payment of Rs. 1200/- and by post on payment of Rs. 1300/-. All payments need to be made by crossed DD in favor of Birla Institute of Technology, payable at Ranchi. The postal request for the information brochure and application form including covering letter & 2 slips of paper (10x10 cm) with name, address in capitals and telephone number should reach the authorities on the due date.
