Introduction
Admission to the MCA programme of Icfai is done through the ICFAI MCA Entrance Test or what is known as the, ICFAI School of Information Technology MCA Test (ISIT IMCAT).

Eligibility: Graduates from any discipline (English medium) with not less than 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission to the MCA progrmmae of Icfai. However those who are appearing in the final year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for the IMCAT 2008 provided they complete their graduation requirements including practical examinations/ viva/ assignments by July 7, 2008.
Test pattern of IMCAT: The IMCAT 2008 will be of 3 hours duration and it will test the applicant's analytical ability, mathematical ability, vocabulary, business and Computer terminology, functional grammar and reading comprehension.
However the selection committee can also assign due weight age to the applicant's past academic achievement, previous relevant work experience, as well as academic/ professional references.
IMCAT Test Centers: The Icfai MCA Entrance Test will be held at various centers of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chattishgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu & Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab Rajasthan, Tamilnadu, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal and Chandigarh.
Obtaining the Application form IMCAT: Interested candidates may download the Application Form, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer, Campus Programs Admissions Department® (CPAD®), # 45, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad-500 082 along with a demand draft for Rs. 600/- towards cost of IMCAT 2008 Prospectus, (demand draft should be drawn in favor of "Icfai University Common Fund" payable at Hyderbad) and the same will be sent to them.
However, this is not the only method of obtaining the application form.

Submitting the Application from: The duly filled IMCAT application forms should be sent either through Speed post or courier to Admission Officer, Campus Programme Admission Department (CPAD), 45, Nagarjuna Hills, Punjagutta, Hyderabad, 500082 on or before 21st April 2008.
Schedule of IMCAT 2008: The Icfai MCA Entrance Test will be held according to the following schedule-
Last date of Submission of Forms: 21st April 2008
Date of Issuing of online admit-cards: 14th April 2008 onwards.
Date of Entrance exam: 4th May 2008
Time: 10.a.m to 1 p.m.
IMCAT 2008 Results: 17th May 2008.
