Dr. D.Y. Patil University AICET is conducted for the admission of students to the MBBS and BDS courses. Students clearing the entrance examination are given admission in Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre, Pimpri, Pune and Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College & Hospital, Pimpri, Pune. Dr. D.Y. Patil University AICET will be held on 25th May, Sunday. |
Eligibility Criteria and Admission Procedures for Dr. D.Y. Patil University AICET 2008
- Candidates who have cleared class XII or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate are eligible for admission.
- For reserved categories only 40% marks is required.
- Candidates should be within 17 years of age as on 31.12.08.
- Application forms can be purchased from the office of the University in person by paying an amount of Rs.500.
- Candidates may even collect the application form by sending a demand draft of Rs.600 along with a letter of requisition.
- The draft drawn from any nationalized bank of the nation should be in favor of “Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil University”. The draft that you are sending should be payable at Pune.
- You can also download the application form from the official website of the University. A demand draft of Rs.2100 should be submitted along with the form. This includes form fee, test fee and postal charges.
- The forms can also be collected from the selected branches of Andhra Bank in Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Bangalore.
- Admits cards will be dispatched 2 weeks before the entrance examination.
Examination Centers- Ahmedabad, Chennai, Indore, Mumbai, New Delhi, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Nagpur and Pune.
Exam Timing: 11am to 2pm
