Medical Entrance Exams in Andhra Pradesh

The Medical Entrance Exams in Andhra Pradesh is conducted through the Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). Every year JNT University conducts this Common Entrance Test on behalf of APSCHE. Students seeking admissions to top medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh are required to appear for the EAMCT. The medical courses that a student can get enrolled for clearing this Medical Entrance Exams in Andhra Pradesh include MBBS, BDS and B. Pharm.
Eligibility for EAMCET – 2008

To get admission to medical colleges of Andhra Pradesh through EAMCET – 2008, candidates are required to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. Some of them are -

- Candidates must be a citizen of India

- Candidates must belong to Andhra Pradesh and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per the A.P. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974.

For MBBS/BDS Courses: Candidates are required to have passed or should have appeared for the final year Intermediate Examination or equivalent with Chemistry, Physics and Biology as optional subjects including a practical test.

Age Eligibility: Lower age limit is 17 yrs as on 31st December of the year of admission while upper age limit is 22 years for all candidates. For SC/ST candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
