Introduction
Banaras Hindu University conducts an All India competitive written test (PMT) for admission to MBBS course.

Eligibility: Passed Intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% marks in PCB and English taken together (For SC/ST 40%). Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.
Pattern of Test: The Papers for the PMT are of objective type consisting of a paper each in Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry) and Biological Science (Botany & Zoology).
Examination Centre: Delhi, Varanasi, Kolkata and Hyderabad.

Date of Examination: May/ June
Date of BHU PMT 2007: The BHU PMT 2007 will be held in two stages. te screening test will be held at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad Centres on 9th May, 2007(wednesday). The BHU PMT Main 2007 will be held on 17th June, 2007.
Date of Issuing Forms: 1st january to 28th February, 2007.
Last date of receipt of Forms: 7th March, 2007.
