Introduction
Department of Pharmaceutics Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, offers 4-years B. Pharma course. Admission in the case of candidates with Physics, Chemistry, Biology is made on the basis of Pharmacy Admission Test (PAT) conducted with the Pre-Medical Test (PMT).
Eligibility: Passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical course/12 years of 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (For SC/ST 40%). Candidates appearing at the above qualifying exams can also apply.
Pattern of Test: The PAT consist of single paper each in Physical Sciences (Physics, Chemistry) and Biological Sciences (Botany & Zoology) containing 200 objective type questions. The standard of the test is that of 10+2 examination.
