Introduction
State Entrance Examination is conducted by U.P. Technical University Lucknow (SEE- UPTU) for admission to 1st year of B. Pharma course.
Eligibility: Pass 10+2 or equivalent. The candidate should have Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Maths, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology as one of the subjects. Those appearing in 10+2 final examination are eligible to apply.
For II year B. Pharma. The candidate who have passed Diploma Examination recognized by U.P. Board of Technical Education in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks. Such candidates need not appear in the Entrance Examination.
Pattern of Test: The Entrance Exam. Consist of:
Paper I: Physics & Chemistry (600 Marks)
Paper 2: Maths. (300 marks) or Biology (300 marks).
Application Procedure: Application forms and information brochure can be had from the Registrar, State Entrance Exam. UP Technical University, IET Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow by sending a MICR bank draft of Rs. 550.00 for General/OBC and Rs. 350.00 for SC/ST candidates in favor of Finance Officer, U.P. Technical University, Lucknow The request should be accompanied by two self addressed stickers. One can procure the form by post only up to 20th February, 2007. Information brochure and application forms can also be collected from the specified branches of Allahabad Bank on cash payment.
Schedule of Examination:
Date of Issuing of application forms: 19th January, 2009.
Last date of submission of apliation forms: 2nd March, 2009.
Date of Entrance Exam: 18th & 19th April, 2009.
