Planning Admission Test (PAT), CEPT PAT

Introduction

The Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology, also known as CEPT is located in Ahmedabd the capital of Gujarat. It offers various postgraduate, undergraduate programme in the area of Natural and Built environment and related disciplines.

The Planning Admission Test (PAT) is conducted for admission to Masters of Technology programme in Urban and Regional Planning, Environmental Planning, Housing and Infrastructure Planning. However candidates who have qualified the Graduate Aptitude Test for Engineering (GATE) would be given preference.

Eligibility: For admission to the Urban Planning and Housing Specializations through PAT 2010, candidates need to be passed the Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Civil Engineering/Planning or a Master's degree in Geography/economics or Sociology with at least 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates) marks in aggregate. For admission to the Environmental planning and Infrastructure planning candidates need to pass their graduation in Architecture/Civil Engineering or Planning with at least 50 % (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

Obtaining the Application form of CIPET PAT, 2010: The application forms of the Planning Admission Test can be downloaded from the Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology website- www.cipet.ac.in

Submitting the Application Form of CIPET PAT 2010:The duly filled application form of CEPT Planning Admission Test and a demand draft of Rs. 500/ drawn in favor of CEPT University should reach the School of Planning, CEPT University, Kasturbhai Lalbhai Campus, University road, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad 380 009.

Test Centres:The Planning Admission Test of the Centre for Environmental Planing and Technology will be held at Guwahati, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad and Delhi. It has there other reserved centres in Kolkata, Luckhnow and Pune.
