International Conference on E- governance
If you want to share your knowledge of e-governance and gain an insight into several technologies, researches and policies related to the same, you can participate in ICEG-2008. Organized for the sixth time in series, International Conference on E- governance 2008 provides an excellent platform for brainstorming and gaining wisdom in the field of e-governance. ICEG-2008 will be organized in Singapore from 15th to 17th December, 2008. It will be conducted under the guidance of International Congress of E-government, founded as an SPU of Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management.
The first ICEG was held at IIT Delhi, India in 2003 and was inaugurated by former Indian President- Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
Scholars, professionals, agencies and commoners related to e-governance participate in this conference and draw out plans for further knowledge-building, research and development in e-governance.
Features of ICEG-2008:
- By 1 July,'08, you can submit your original as well as unpublished papers.
- If your paper is selected and any of the authors is present in the conference, it will be placed in the proceedings of ICEG, 2008.
- There will be a Best Paper award for a paper from each track.
- There will be submission topics such as E-governance & Policy, Technology in Government, ICT & Society, Competitiveness, Reengineering Government, Open source platform for sustainability, Inter-governmental issues, Public Private Partnerships, Cultural, social and political issues in e-government, Best Practices in E-government, Reforms & Acts, Crisis in Human Capital and many more.
- There will be special sessions on Data mining in Government, E-government Standards & Architecture and Privacy, Security & Homeland defense in E-government
- Even Industrial tutorials and sessions will be organized, each of half-a-day duration.
Some tips for Submission of Paper for ICEG, 2008:
- All the papers should be submitted online and written in English.
- The paper will be placed in the proceedings of a conference under the condition that one of the authors appears in the conference.
- You should also mention on the cover page of your paper, the track for which you are submitting.
- Your paper should be written within ten pages.
- You should use 3 to 5 keywords to define the main theme of your paper and the name of the author, telephone number, e-mail id and fax number should be listed as footnotes on the first page.

- Notification for Rejection or Acceptance of Paper: 15, Aug, 2008
