India- Japan: A New Era of Relationship
The Centre for East Asian Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University is organizing an International Symposium on "India- Japan: A New Era of Relationship" at the backdrop of completion of 50 years of Indo-Japanese Cultural Agreement. The event would bring together luminaries of Indian and Japanese academics, Non-Government organizations, various private business establishments and people from the media. The International Symposium on India Japan relations would reflect on the role of India and Japan in the changing global scenario. The main topics on which papers would presented are- Japan and India: Global Issues and Responses, Regional Dynamics, Bilateral Cooperation, Security Challenges for India and Japan, Challenges to Enhance Economic Relations and Legislative Logjam.
The symposium, sponsored by Toshiba International Foundation, Tokyo, would be held on 15th and 16th of November 2007.
