Introduction:
Delhi University Library (DUL) System consists of 30 libraries under its canopy providing opportunities to the students, research scholars, esoteric and erudite community of Delhi University. The library boasts of a huge collection of books in diverse subjects .The DUL has been instrumental in propagating an ambiance of study through the network of 30 libraries and is a boon for the students ,research scholars who can avail the golden opportunity to devour voraciously in the colossal collection of bibliography in various subjects .
The library has also up to date infrastructure to provide the readers the facilities of computer facilities which has the database of the huge collection of books on specific subjects.
The facility of obtaining a reference book on a specific subject through e- mail is another addition to the basket of value added services provided by the library. DUL with the modern facilities coupled with the vintage spirit is truly the unquestionable gem as a storehouse of books, rare books, journals, thesis papers, periodicals ,etc.
Rules of Delhi University Library:
The membership fee is Rs.12 per annum and a refundable security fee of Rs 50 is to be deposited by the member.
The library is open for 12 hours daily on all the days of the week , except on some of the national holidays.
