Rules of Max Muller Bhawan Library, Delhi :
The library can be used by the public for reading and using the electronic medium for free of cost. However, for borrowing a book one needs to be a member of the library by showing an evidence of their residential address in the form of voter identification card, passport or driving license.
The library charges a fee of INR 500 for membership annually.
The following are the time frames for which a particular document can be borrowed :
The time frame of 3 weeks is alloted for borrowing of journals, books, CDs, etc .
The time frame alloted is 1 week for borrowing DVD and videos
The items which are borrowed can be renewed twice.
Membership FR candidates residing outside Delhi is also provided by the library.
