Eligibility for admission to VIT:
For applying for a B.E program at VIT, you need to pass Class 12 exam organized by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, English and Mathematics as your subject of study. The candidate also needs to obtain at least 50% marks in PCM taken together. There is a relaxation of 5% for candidates of reserved category.
You should also acquire rank in the MHT-CET (Engineering), which is organized by the Maharashtra Government.
A candidate applying for a 2 year M.M.S program needs to be a graduate and a taker of CET organized by Maharashtra state government. You also need to have 45% marks in total at your graduate level. There is some relaxation for candidates from reserved category. You can also apply for the same if you have applied for the final exam of B.E degree program.
Admission to Vidyalankar Institute of Technology:
- Admission to B.E programs at VIT is regularized on the basis of the guidelines set by the Directorate of Technical Education of Maharashtra government.
- For admission to the full-time 2 year M.M.S program, you will be screened on the basis of your score in Maharashtra CET.
