About: Goethals Memorial School, Kurseong was established in the year 1907. This school is situated at a height of 5600 feet. Its name was derived from Jesuit father Paul Goethals, who was a former Archbishop of Calcutta. This is one of the old residential schools in India that has a glorious history of its own. Annual fee is Rs.3085, Rs.1000 is the pocket money and an Exam- science and alumni fee is Rs.1350.
