Induction Ceremony – The Induction Ceremony for the first batch of Pailan World School students was held in the Junior School building.
The school celebrated its 1st Independence Day with great enthusiasm with equal participation of all the parents and the members of the school.
The inter school competition, The Chocolate Affair was celebrated with Skits, Recitations, Cookery competitions and fashion shows based on Chocolate.
The inter-school dance competition, Dance Waves was organized which was attended by the distinguished guests.
The school hosted the sensational soccer match between the AC Milan team and students of Pailan Group of Institutions.
The school concert was organized before the Christmas Vacations. The celebrations included carol, dance, recitation, and distribution of Christmas goodies by Santa Claus.
The workshop for The Badminton Players's Assocoation, organized by Pailan World School was participated by the Indian players of National and International level.

For Indian Students:
The prospectus of the school along with necessary forms and a VCD are available from the Pailan World School campus, the city office, and different branches of UCO & Allahabad Bank.
The payment of a non-refundable Registration Fee has to be made while submitting the application form; medical form and boarding form (only for residential students).
Registration does not ensure guarantee admission to any applicant.
The admission forms can be downloaded from the website. The filled up application form should be sent to the school along with the registration fee and the cost of the prospectus, both payable in favor of Pailan World School by demand draft in Kolkata.
The applicants have to appear in an entrance test, which is mandatory for all classes. On the basis of performance of the child in the written test and assessment of the vacancy position in the concerned class/grade admission gets confirmed.
The parents have to appear in an interview on the same day as the students.
The results are sent to the parents of selected applicants individually with a call letter.
The admission test covers the following subjects:
Rhymes, Pictorial Questions – For Classes LKG and UKG
English and Mathematics – For Classes I and II

For International Students:
The school prospectus can be obtained by sending a demand draft favouring Pailan World School payable in Kolkata, for Non-resident Indians USD 24 or for Foreign Nationals USD 26.
The application form, boarding form (only for residential students) and medical form have to be submitted along with payment of a non-refundable Registration Fee.
Forms can be downloaded from the website, and duly filled forms can be sent to the school with the cost of the prospectus and the registration fee. Both are payable by demand draft in Kolkata favoring Pailan World School.
The entrance test can be taken in the school or in the Indian Embassy of the country.
A no-objection certificate from the school where the applicant is currently enrolled and/or the Embassy concerned has to be submitted by the parents of the applicant. For sending question papers to the Embassy the e-mail address has to be forwarded to the school authority.
