The Young Talent IT Scholarships from Dr.GB Scholarships Foundation were introduced in India by a private organization known as KG Information Systems Pvt.Ltd (KGISL). The Young Talent IT Scholarship was established with sponsorship from the GB Scholarship Foundation. It aims to provide young and talented minds in the information technology sector with adequate financial assistance to enable them continue with further studies in related fields.
Eligibility Criteria for Young Talent IT Scholarships:
- Candidates who are presently studying to acquire a BCA, B.Sc degree or other undergraduate courses in Computer Science and qualifying which will allow them to get admission to post graduation courses in these disciplines
- Candidates should have a good and consistent academic background
- The scholarship is approved only if the student is able to produce a document stating that he has already been admitted in an institute of repute for pursuing a course in IT
Value of Scholarships:
- The amount of financial assistance under the Dr.GB Scholarships is a one time grant of Rs.25,000/-

- Candidates should forward their applications through their respective Head of Institutions in the prescribed format.
Selection Procedure:
Students who are referred for the scholarships by their respective institutes are required to appear for Primary Evaluation Program (PEP) to be held at the campus of the KGISL in Coimbatore. Students will be tested for their skills on:

Test for psychometric evaluation
Test for evaluation of primary skills in IT
