Modern School, New Delhi INTRODUCTION
Lala Raghubir Singh established the Modern School, New Delhi in 1920. The school is counted amongst one of the oldest and premier educational institutes in New Delhi. The objective in front of the founders of the school was to establish an institution that could “combine the concept of secularism, the motivation to excel, and an environment of diverse activities."
Modern School, New Delhi is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Accordingly, the school is governed by the rules, regulations and curriculum of CBSE for the purpose of All India Secondary School Examination at the end of class 10 and Senior School Certificate Examination at the end of class 12, under the 10+2 pattern.
