INTRODUCTION
The French Fathers of the Foreign mission is established the St. Joseph College in 1882. It handed over the college to a catholic religious order, Jesuits in 1937. However St. Joseph College of Commerce came into existence in 1972 primarily established to impart education to man so that they can act as agents of transformation and work towards a just and human society. The college emphasizes on character formation and academic excellence.
St. Joseph College is providing all the necessary facilities for the all round development of the students. St, Joseph college of Commerce is ranked as the best college of commerce in Karnataka by a survey conducted by the India Today group. It is affiliated to Bangalore University.
