Introduction:
The Manipur University campus covers an area of 287 acres in Canchipur, the palace of the kingdom of Manipur. Canchipur is also the place where Dr. Lamabam Kamal, a renowned poet of Manipur was born. Manipur University has 72 colleges under its affiliation along with the Manipur Institute of Technology, which is under its supervision. |

Admission Procedure in Manipur University :
Admissions to the above courses are made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examinations.
Eligibility:
A candidate with Honors will have to secure at least 45% marks in Bachelors degree for admission in the postgraduate courses.
A candidate without Honors will have to secure at least 50% marks in Bachelors degree for admission in the post graduate courses.
A candidate will have to secure at least 55% marks in the post graduation level for pursuing the M. Phil course.
