| The Apeejay Education Society (AES), was set up on 4th December, 1967, under the Societies Registration Act, 1860, in Jalandhar. AES is a constituent unit of the industrial house Apeejay Stya. The major objective of the AES is to provide educational facilities to students irrespective of gender or age. At its inception it had decided to set up the following educational institutions - schools for imparting primary and secondary education, colleges for imparting higher education in graduate and post graduate levels, technical institutes for providing technology based courses and professional institutes for offering courses on communication, computer sciences and management. Apeejay Educational Society is in the process of being recognized as a deemed university'. |
